Coming up on Friday, January 29th, DJ Strangefellow is humbled to have been asked tobe part of the first ever electronic music festival in Grand Junction. Featuring DJs on the Main Stage and the Lounge, this is an collaboration between various dj groups in town (Sugar Cult, Agape Experiment, Flawless, etc.)
Dj Hydro will spin in the Lounge from 11:30-12:30, then Dj Strangefellow will spin on the Main stage at 12:30, after Dj Daytona. Joining DJ Strangefellow are tribal fusion dancers Satya and Aphrodite, and VJ Coltrain--it's going to be ROCKIN!
Other DJs include AtypicalRobot & Chris Epic from Flawless Promotions, Daytona & Funk 10 from Sweettooth Productions, and Puppetmaster from The Dubb Committee.

Big thanks to all y'all for making 2009 a blissed out, crunk-filled year of gettin' ROCKED at some great events! Some of my brainwaves are showing partial images of a few...The impromptu January Mesa Theater dance party that was the first test of the new Vestax VCi mixer, sharing the stage with DJs Warrior One and Prof. Skywalker in the first un-official Trilogy event...The DJ Break-In Party, where we broke in the BASS of the new sound system at Eric's place on Grand Ave...another spring Agape Fund Drive Dance Party where we felt the floor move up and down b/c you all danced so hard!...the beginning of 'Sushi Beatz' on Wednesdays at No Coast...Djs Trilogy playing 'wake the f%*# Up at a late late early morning set at DreamTime...Zombie Prom taking the Valley by storm in October and Dj Hydro blowing us all away...a fun CEC after party in Palisade with locals dancing on the tables...ending with The Snow Ball in December, coming full circle at The Mesa again..
What will 2010 bring? It can only get better! Huge up's to everyone who was there this year, dancing, listening, lugging gear (Jesse and Val, you hauled the most!) and spreading the word about how much fun electro dance parties can be! I'm uploading mixes for free downloading as fast as I can as a way of saying thank you--you all are the best!

This fall's Agape Dance Party will be themed 'Zombie Prom'! It'll be the same kind of dance party you're used to, with live djs, fire performance, belly dance, and an open bar, but wipe the dust off of that suit or dress, throw on some fake blood, maybe chop off a leg, and come get down in the Radio Room at 1310 Ute ave.
This is all happening Friday, October 2nd. Doors at 8 pm
$10 donation gets you in the door and access to the Rigged to Flip bar.
